GCSE Pod
At Ormiston Maritime Academy
GCSE Pod is one of our Academy’s virtual learning sites that we use to support the learning of our students.
GCSE Pod is a superb revision tool where student have access to GCSE Pods which have experts reading and explaining GCSE content in a very clear and easy to understand way.
The GCSE Pods are designed to work on any device and can be watched in and out of school.
GCSE Pod can be used for independent revision but your teachers will also set specific pods that they would like you to watch as part of Home Study.
On average regular users can expect the following from using GCSE Pod:
- 0.7 more Progress 8 points than non-users
- 1 grade higher per subject than non-users
- The highest users achieve 20 Attainment 8 points more than non-users
