Students have participated in many trips and visits. These trips and visits include Yr 7 attending the Pantomime in Scunthorpe and some Yr 7 students taking part in a regional debating competition in York, Yr 8 Geography students working with Hull University on the Holderness coastline, KS3 students participating in Forest School and Fire Safety workshops, Yr 9 students visiting Bishop Grossteste University in Lincoln and also entered the HETA 50th Annivesary Challenge which the Maritime Team were champions, Yr 10 students visiting Lincoln and the Holderness coastline to undertake Geography fieldwork. In addition, to the many sports fixtures that take place every week at schools across North East Lincolnshire, our students involved in the Combined Cadet Force have spent a day at Strensall Barracks in York working with the Army. In addition, Yr 11 art students had a residential visit to our sister academy, Chadwick Academy in Widnes. Some of our Yr 11 students have also visited Leeds to take part in a PIXL maths challenge. As part of our rewards system some students have attended Gravity in Hull and also visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, in Doncaster.
