During Employability Week, Ryman Enterprise Challenge came into the academy and worked with our Year 10s for the day. Students had to create a “back to campaign” including a chosen product to front the campaign. The winning group on the day were Daniel Weavers, Ashley Jones, Heather Melton, Kacie Jesney, Corey Harrison and Reo Jenson with their ‘Bendy Ben. Their campaign was “Back to School the WRITE Way and chose a pen that students could twiddle as a way to relieve stress and aid concentration.

All the students, Mrs MacDonald and Mr Scott, made their way to the final which was held at the International Centre in Telford, along with 1400 other students from schools across the country.

Students delivered a very convincing pitch to a judging panel of 3 but unfortunately were not successful this time but without doubt did the academy proud.
